Lauda and Königshofen are neighbouring towns in the pretty Tauber valley to the south of Würzburg. The towns are more of an overnight stop than a destination to visit specifically - unless one wants to take advantage of the walking and biking routes in the countryside of rolling hills, vineyards and farmland.
The vineyards also of course offer another reason for putting the car up overnight and breaking the journey!
